Commercial Loan ReadyHELP & BORROWER CONTROL

A CLEAR NEXT STEP

Prepare with confidence.
Stay in control.

Find your next step, understand what lenders can see and get help without emailing financial documents.

FROM YOUR REQUEST TO YOUR BRIEF

Four steps, at your pace.

  1. Start your request.

After pilot approval and email confirmation, answer the financing questions. CLR uses your saved answers to create a document checklist.

  2. Add and review your files.

Choose a checklist item, upload a supported file and wait for security screening. Review extraction results and confirm image-derived figures against the original.

  3. Save your financial picture.

Review the annual period, business and household sources, and proposed payments. Leave unknown figures blank. Choose “Save and get feedback.”

  4. Download your lender handoff.

Open Summary for the lender brief or preparation ZIP. Originals enter the ZIP only when you select that option. Check the brief before sharing it.

DOCUMENT HELP

A file needs attention?

Which files can I upload?

Common PDFs and scans, Word, Excel, OpenDocument, CSV, text and supported images including JPG, PNG, TIFF and HEIC/HEIF. Each file must be nonempty and no larger than 25 MB. Damaged files, complex layouts or reading limits can leave partial results that need your review.

Why is my saved file waiting for security screening?

New uploads are quarantined until a malware scan clears the exact stored file. Scans run in batches; keep the request open to check for updates. Reading and downloads stay blocked while the file is pending or blocked. A passed scan does not verify financial accuracy or authenticity.

What if uploading finished but saving did not?

Keep the page open and use “Finish saving file” after reconnecting. That retries registration of the same upload. Check whether the file appears in your request before uploading it again.

What if the text or figures were read incorrectly?

Review the file’s reading result and use its confirmation or correction controls. Check dates, decimal points and source references. Annual and interim figures stay separate. For an unreadable or encrypted file, supply a clearer, unlocked copy.

I uploaded the wrong file. What can I do?

In Documents, choose “Withdraw” beside the saved file, review the explanation and provide a reason. Withdrawal removes the file from active preparation while retaining the original and its history. Saved financial figures remain as entered; review them and regenerate the brief. Withdrawal does not erase account data or recall copies already downloaded or shared.

For broader deletion or account requests, follow the privacy-request steps below.

YOU CHOOSE THE RECIPIENT

Who can see my request?

Browsing the marketplace does not share your identity or request. A lender’s participation fee does not grant access to every borrower.

  1. Choose your saved loan request and lender.

Compare the lender’s published criteria, then choose “Review an introduction.” Permission is specific to that request and that selected lender account.

  2. Review the exact details.

The preview names the recipient and lists every field: business name, contact name, verified account email, business state, loan type, requested amount, financing purpose and your optional message.

  3. Confirm your permission.

Tick the consent checkbox and choose “Confirm and request introduction.” CLR records the recipient, request, shared snapshot, consent version and time. Each additional lender requires a separate approval.

  4. Manage future access.

In “Your introductions,” review what you shared, expiry and first-view information. Access expires after 30 days. Choose “Revoke future access” to end it sooner. Information already copied or received cannot be recalled.

What a lender receives today

A verified institution can view and respond to its borrower-approved introduction summaries. Other lenders cannot browse or claim those introductions. Borrowers may separately approve more than one lender for the same request; an introduction is not exclusive.

Introductions contain no original files or full financial worksheets. After an introduction, choose “Choose files for this lender,” select only the screened files you want to share, review the named recipient, loan request, exact file list and basic introduction details, then approve the separate file permission. Unselected files and future uploads stay private. Your complete preparation workspace and automatically generated lender brief are not added to a file package.

File packages require verified lender participation for an approved pilot or a paid period. The lender opens only packages addressed to its verified account; there is no borrower directory or open pool of loan files. Access ends within 30 days, no later than the introduction’s expiry, and sooner if permission, file screening or participation closes. In “Your package permissions,” review the selected files and access history or revoke a package. Revoking an introduction closes its file packages too.

Monthly and annual plans have the same intended features and differ in billing period. Online charging remains off while the Stripe sandbox integration is completed. A subscription alone never grants borrower permission. Institution verification, agreed terms and borrower approval remain separate requirements.

ACCOUNT & DATA REQUESTS

Ask for access, correction or deletion.

Email CLR from your account email and describe the action you want. Your identity and scope must be verified before CLR acts on private records.

  1. Describe the request.

For example, account access, a correction or a deletion request. Start with the requested action and affected area.

  2. Keep sensitive information out of email.

Do not attach financial documents or include account numbers, tax identifiers, passwords or confirmation/recovery links. CLR may arrange a secure way to verify the request.

  3. Receive a scoped response.

Withdrawal, account closure and complete erasure are different actions. Original records, audit history and encrypted backups may need separate handling. Retention periods and final legal policies are still being completed; this help page does not promise automatic deletion or a response deadline.

SIGN-IN & RECOVERY

Get back to your preparation.

I am approved but cannot create my account.

Use the exact email CLR approved and the approved-pilot registration page. A URL parameter does not grant admission. Contact support if the approval expired or your email differs.

Open approved-pilot registration →
I need a confirmation or password-reset email.

Use Sign in for confirmation help or the password-reset page for recovery. Check spam and junk folders. A submitted request is not proof of inbox delivery; wait before retrying if a rate-limit message appears. Never send emailed links or codes to support.

I lost my connection or my session was locked.

Keep the page open and reconnect before saving or uploading. Unsaved figures may need to be entered again if you reload. A locked session requires signing out and back in; private actions recheck your active session.

CLR’S ROLE & LENDER RESPONSIBILITY

Preparation support.
The lender decides.

CLR provides preparation and informational analysis. CLR does not make lending decisions, approve or decline credit, issue loan offers, or guarantee financing. Each lender independently verifies information, applies its policies and applicable requirements, and makes all credit decisions and sets terms.

For borrowers

Borrowers use CLR free to organize their financing request, review supplied information and prepare questions and documents. Review figures and source records before sharing; incomplete information remains visible.

For lenders

Lenders receive borrower-authorized introductions and information to support their own review. A prepared brief, positive cash illustration, directory listing or criteria alignment is not prequalification, approval, a credit recommendation or proof of creditworthiness. The lender remains responsible for independent underwriting, verification, compliance, decisions and communications.

Sources, requirements and limits

SBA program requirements, applicable laws and regulations, supervisory guidance and lender credit policies have different roles. A source citation does not establish that a rule applies to a particular lender or loan, or certify eligibility or regulatory compliance. The lender confirms applicability, current requirements and any permitted exceptions.

OCC and FDIC examination materials inform the preparation questions. They are selected for the transaction and do not create a universal commercial-loan minimum or maximum. SBA rules remain specific to the relevant program. Applicable legal requirements, source dates, exceptions and the intended lender’s policy require lender review.

Service documents and acceptance records

Your signed-in workspace includes a service-documents panel. It presents final terms and a Privacy Notice after publication, records the exact versions you explicitly accept, and lets you retrieve your own acceptance records. Draft documents are not offered for acceptance. Payment authorization and permission for each introduction or file package remain separate.

How CLR is funded

Borrower preparation is $0. Lender participation supports access to borrower-authorized introductions and packages; payment does not purchase a favorable assessment or guarantee prospect quality, introductions, approval or funding.

Information limitations

CLR information and calculations may be incomplete or incorrect and require review against original records. CLR does not replace a lender’s underwriting or professional legal, tax or accounting advice. CLR is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SBA, OCC or FDIC.

Preparation status describes information organization and completeness. A draft or prepared brief, positive calculation, published lender profile, criteria alignment or accepted introduction is not an offer, prequalification, approval or decline. Borrowers and lenders should review original records and resolve material differences.

This explains CLR’s product role. It does not certify compliance or replace applicable law, final service terms or a lender participation agreement.
